DPD FAST – program for the fastest amateur runners
28 January 2026With the support of DPD, we have launched a special program called “DPD FAST”, designed for goal-oriented amateur runners.
By qualifying for this program, participants gain the right to take positions at the front of the start corral. This helps avoid heavy congestion at the start and creates better conditions for achieving personal bests and high-quality results.
To enter the “DPD FAST” start corral, you must visit the DPD FAST stand at the Rimi Riga Marathon EXPO and present proof of having met the qualifying time standard in an official race (achieved after January 1, 2023). Training results alone will not be sufficient to qualify for the “DPD FAST” start corral.
Importantly, by meeting the “DPD FAST” qualifying standard in any distance, a runner gains the privilege to start from the “DPD FAST” corral in any distance of their choice on both May 16 and May 17.
The qualification time may also be from a different distance (for example, a half-marathon time is valid for starting from the “DPD FAST” corral in the marathon distance as well).
After receiving confirmation, you will receive a “DPD FAST” sticker, which guarantees a place at the front of the start corral.
