Marathon course
Please note that in May 2024, we have maintained the marathon course identical to that of 2023, adapting to the development plans of the city of Riga (a portion of the planned and proportionate 42 km route may undergo reconstruction or be included, for example, in the Rail Baltic construction plans). Consequently, the classic marathon distance will be covered in two half-marathon loops, starting at the base of the Stone Bridge, with a spectacular finish along the 11th November Embankment. Additionally, there will be a ‘tour’ reserved exclusively for marathon participants in Ķīpsala. As an old saying goes – Riga must never be ready, so we ask for your understanding in 2024 as we adapt to the reconstruction and development plans of Riga.
