Warm Up for Rimi Riga Marathon Kids’ Day at Spice!
6 March 2026Families are invited to a special Kids’ Day warm-up event at Spice Shopping Centre on 21 March from 11:00 to 14:00.
During the event, little participants will have the chance to test their strength, speed, and agility through fun and active challenges that will bring joy not only to the children but also to their supporters.
Throughout the event, children will be able to take part in several sporty and playful challenges designed to test their speed, coordination, and sense of distance. The activities are created in a light and engaging format so that every young participant can experience the joy of movement.
Families will also be able to enjoy additional activities in the Rimi zone, while CIDO will help ensure plenty of fun for the kids.
There is no age limit for children participating in the event.
Kids’ Day at Spice will serve as a great warm-up for the Rimi Riga Marathon Kids’ Day on 16 May at 11. Novembra Krastmala, which traditionally opens the two-day Rimi Riga Marathon programme. It is a special day when the race courses belong to the youngest runners, and many children take their very first steps into the world of running there.
