Kids’ Day
The two-day program of the Rimi Riga Marathon is traditionally opened by the Kids’ Day. This day allows youngsters as well as their families to enjoy the joy of movement.
The registration of 2025 for the baby, 200m, and 400m races will be opened in the spring. However, you can currently register for the ‘Sprint King and Queen’ distance.

There are three free distances – Happy babies course (0-3 years), 200 m (3-8 years) and 400m (5-12 years). Registration for the free distances will open in spring 2025.
It is currently possible to register for the Kids’ Day race ‘Sprint King and Queen’.

Participation in the “Sprint King and Queen” distance
The Olympic Kids’ day distance with a fee of 3 € for the “Sprint King and Queen” is designed so that the participant’s running result can be recorded in the overall results table, as the race number will have an attached time-tracking microchip.
Results will be published two weeks after the event.

Where can I collect bib numbers for the “Sprint King and Queen” distance?
Participants will receive the Rimi Riga Marathon EXPO 2025 starting number with a microchip (for time reading) on May 16 and 17 from 10:00 to 20:00, presenting a confirmation letter with the assigned starting number and an identification document.
