Welcome Ukrainians!
1 May 2022The Rimi Riga Marathon on May 14 and 15 will be happy to welcome everyone from Ukraine so that we can all give a little encouragement to fight the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
REGISTRATION FOR KIDS’ DAY, DPD MILE AND 6 KM HAS CONCLUDED
We invite every citizen of Ukraine currently living in Latvia to register free of charge for the 6 km distance, which this year will be dedicated to Ukraine and will be dressed in Ukrainian colours, and the DPD Mile distance. All income from the most attended 6 km distance, Rimi Riga Marathon will be donated to support Ukraine.
Children are invited to participate in the Rimi Riga marathon Kids Day at the Freedom Monument on May 14. For young participants under 12 years of age, we offer to run “Happy babies”, 200m or 400m long courses. Online registration is free of charge for everyone. Please note, that there is a maximum limit for the participants. So we advise registering now in case you want to participate on May 14.
Or alternatively the same day May 14 we invite the whole family to run the 1.6 km long “DPD mile” distance together. Register with the code in order to avoid the fee.

Each code is valid for 2 registrations (1 person for both distances or 2 persons for 1 distance). If you feel like going for a longer distance (10K, half-marathon or marathon) we will offer you a discount (to the level of the initial fee). In case you need extra spots or discounts for longer distances please write us at marathon@necom.lv and we will change the settings of your code.
