Registration for the DPD Mile is now closed!
11 May 2026Having reached the participant limit, Rimi Riga Marathon is officially closing registration for the DPD Mile. This year, the popular race has seen especially high demand – a record number of participants will take to the 1609-metre course stretching from the Latvian National Museum of Art to the Freedom Monument.
The DPD Mile will bring together not only athletes competing for Latvian Championship medals, but also thousands of runners of all ages and pace groups ready to enjoy one of the most exciting distances of the Rimi Riga Marathon. Interest has been so high that the maximum participant capacity has now been reached, requiring registration to close earlier than planned.
Meanwhile, registration remains open for the May 17 distances – 6 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km races. However, spots in these distances are also filling up quickly, so runners are encouraged not to leave registration until the last minute.
