Free Christmas Run in Riga for everyone on December 24
7 December 2023We encourage everyone to mark December 24 in their calendars because the Christmas Run organized by Rimi Riga Marathon returns this December after a couple years without the event!
We need to run – to keep a straight back and keep active before we sit at a full Christmas dinner table!
Let’s meet at 9 AM on the morning of December 24 at the Daile Theatre. We’ll all be running one distance this year – 12 km – to Mežaparks (the usual Rimi Riga Marathon spring training session meeting place) and back. We’ll keep an easy pace fit for everyone at 6:00min/km (or maybe slower, if the weather and course conditions are bad).
We invite everyone to dress in red hats, Christmas sweaters and other festive attire. But don’t worry, if you don’t have anything festive to wear because the first 50 attendants in need will receive red elf hats from us as a gift!
