Rimi Riga Marathon has become the first large-scale sports event in the Baltics, which has evaluated its impact on the environment by performing CO₂e emission or carbon footprint calculations.
What are the running distances and time limits?
For the Rimi Riga Marathon 2026, the following distances and time limits have been set:
Marathon (42 km) – 6 hours
“Signet Bank 42 km Relay” – 6 hours
Half Marathon (21 km) – 3 hours
“Signet Bank 21 km Relay” – 3 hours
10 km race – 2 hours
5 km race – 1 hour 30 minutes
“DPD Mile” (1.6 km distance) – 30 minutes
“Toyota WESS Grand Sprint” – no time limit

Until when can one register for relays?
Registration for the Signet Bank 42 km Relay and Signet Bank 21 km Relay distances is available until April 30, 2026.

Can I change my race distance?
Change of distance is possible once by filling out a request form on the website. The rules vary depending on the direction of the change:
🔽 Switching to a shorter distance:
🔼 Switching to a longer distance (from the Half Marathon, 10 km, or 6 km):
❗ Switching from the DPD Mile to a longer distance:
Distance change are not possible – you will need to register again for your chosen distance.

Can a bib-number be picked on a race day?
There might be extra services for international participants to get bib numbers on the race day. These services if any will be announced on the webpage one month before the event.

Can I transfer my entry to 2027?
Until April 30, 2026, participants have the option to transfer their purchased entry to the Rimi Riga Marathon 2027.
