Applications for media accreditation for the Rimi Riga Marathon are accepted electronically by completing the application form. Applications for media accreditation are open until May 9.

Media accreditation grants access to restricted finish areas:

– May 16, at the Freedom Monument
– May 17, at 11 November Embankment

Accreditation also allows media representatives to request individual approval from the organisers for projects that involve being on the course — with or without the use of motorised vehicles.

Please note that media presence on the course, including 11 November Embankment and other Rimi Riga Marathon event areas, with or without a motorised vehicle, is strictly prohibited without individual approval and a pass issued by the organisers.

Due to the large number of participants and safety requirements, the number of bicycles allowed on the course will be limited. Permission to use bicycles will be granted individually by the organisers, based on priority and necessity.

Media passes for access to the finish areas, as well as any other passes granted upon individual approval, can be collected on May 15 and 16 from 13:00 to 20:00 at the Rimi Riga Marathon EXPO, Rimi Olympic Centre, Grostonas Street 6B, at the Help Desk.

When collecting your media accreditation, you will be asked to sign the Accredited Media Rules. A 30 EUR deposit will also be required for receiving a media vest. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the vest.

Media accreditation will not be available for collection on May 17 at 11 November Embankment.
